Just back from a trip to Mauchline to visit one of my closest friends. Mauchline is a lovely little village steeped in the history or Robert Burns, Here you can see Possie Nancies, the pub where he met his wife Jean Armour and wrote one of his poems, The Jolly Beggars. It is full of lovely little cobblestone streets and walks along the riverside.
