The pelicans have no fear of man as they wait to either steal a piece of fish or the fishermen throwing them the inners. They even hitch lifts of the bow of their boats. As is the norm in the Galapagos man and wildlife work together.

Just back from the trip of a life time to the Galapagos Islands, a life long dream. The locals say it is the last paradise on earth and I agree here the wildlife can live without fear of man. Todays photos are of the Great Frigate birds and the Magnificent Frigate birds, almost identical except for the feathers on their backs, The Greats feathers have a green sheen the Magnificent has a purple sheen.
