A little Linnet on the shores of St Ninian’s point. They are difficult to get as they are very flighty little birds, any movement and they are gone.

Moorhen in the trees!
Moorhens, normally a common sight in the water, but this little one decided to preen in a tree right next to the bird hide. So beautiful and lovely to watch.

Female Blackcap
Pleased to have captured this little female blackcap. She was out an in the tree busy feeding her young and broke cover for only a few seconds.

Goosanders
Enjoyed watching these Goosanders, about 18 of them, came ashore right in front of the hide. Their webbed feet positioned far back on their body, and a sharp, slender bill helps when catching fish underwater.
